Building Construction

SIPL has successfully delivered a broad range of institutional, residential, commercial, and utility-building projects. Its completed works include the RCC control-room building for the 66 kV substation in Phuntsholing, control room buildings for the Samtse and Taba data centre projects, G+1+Jamthog staff quarter for the 132 kV substation at Panbang, and a stockyard at Rollong under the Trashigang Regional Office, among others.

A notable achievement was the Design and Build of the G+2+Jamthog, 36-unit LL.M. Student Residence at the Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law in Pangbisa, Paro. The project was completed within 10 months despite the demanding winter conditions of the Paro valley, demonstrating SIPL’s ability to maintain schedule, quality, and site coordination under challenging circumstances.

Current assignments include Phase II of the Academic Infrastructure Development Project at the Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law, comprising six buildings including a 600 seat Auditorium. SIPL is also executing the Extension of Kaja Throm in Thimphu, located opposite the existing market complex.
